BEREX, a company specializing in real estate services in Belgium, is looking for a motivated Energy Performance Certificate to join our team. As a Energy Performance Certifier, you will play a key role in assessing the energy performance of buildings and issuing Energy Performance Certification.
Responsibilities :
- Carrying out on-site energy audits to assess the energy performance of residential and non-residential buildings.
- Collect and analyse the data needed to calculate energy performance indicators.
- Use specialized software to generate Energy Performance Certificate that comply with current regulations.
- Advising customers on possible energy improvement measures to reduce the energy consumption of buildings.
- Working with customers, architects and contractors to ensure compliance with energy performance standards and regulations.
- Keep up to date with changes and regulatory requirements in terms of the energy performance of buildings.
Requirements :
- Training and certification as an Energy Performance Certifier.
- Excellent knowledge of building energy performance standards and regulations.
- Mastery of the tools and software used to carry out calculations and generate Energy Performance Certificate.
- Ability to interpret the results of energy assessments and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in French and/or Dutch..
